I have something to say...

Not only do the vocals go in extremely well with the rest of the song, but this song builds up FANTASTICALLY and is sooo CATCHY. By the way, I was a World of Warcraft player until music making interested me more. GREAT song. Good selection of notes as well.

To sum this song up in four words, I would say "FANTASTICALLY CATCHY and GREAT!"

Yeah, that's it for my review. If you want to, check my stuff out!

Diabolo-ical responds:

Hmm, I like this review. A lot. You should be a reviewer in your future career, heheh! Thanks for the high praise.

Indeed video gameish

I thought this song was pretty cool. I liked the instruments and how they flowed together. By the way, what program do you use?

I think if you made the diversity better, it would have been even better. Well, good song. If you want, check my stuff out.

cheesemonkeybill responds:

tanx, man! i used fruity loops 5. its really a good program once you get used to it.

Cool, should be Industrial or something

This song I would say is industrial. Cool song... I loved the echos and all that stuff. THe ending was very, very good. This deserves to be on the A-bot list! Check out my stuff if you want.

Ak-17 responds:

Could be! Anyway thanks man :)

Wow...

This was very cool. The beat was great. I especially liked how the drumming proggressed. I really wished you had expanded it though because it was great. What program is this? FL?

If you want, check out my stuff. My newest song called "Dark Intro" sounds a bit like this.

Lelix responds:

Glad you liked it. Yep, I use FL for all my songs! Composed this one in about an hour or so so its not fully finished yet.

Great song!

This song is great! I liked how you put all the different themes together so well.

I know you use Reason, so I have a few questions since I will be getting Reason soon.

1. How much hours does it take you to make a song like this?
2. Do you use a midi keyboard? If so, where did u get it and how much did it cost? What are the benefits of it?
3. How did you learn to use Reason in the first place?

I hope i'm not wasting too much of your time when you could be making songs, but i would greatly appreiate these questions answered.

If anyone else has suggestions or anyhing about Reason, you can email me at sebby_man@yahoo.com

Well, excellent song overall. I give you a 5 + download.

tedJohnston responds:

hey, no problem dude, I'd be glad to answer your questions about Reason!

1 - this song took me about two weeks to make, working about...oh, say one or two hours a day. it all depends on what you're trying to achieve and your level of skill. for example, this song is about 5-minutes, and took me two weeks to make, but my latest song "Forest Lullaby" is 30-seconds long and took me a whole week (working pretty heavily on it each day too) to make!

2 - I currently do not own a MIDI keyboard, but plan on purchasing one very soon. contrary to popular suspicion, I DID NOT SIMPLY IMPORT MIDIS AND APPLY SOUNDFONTS FOR THIS SONG! I drew in EVERY note, by ear.

anyways, I really like drawing in notes for some reason...it just feels more precise for me! MIDI keyboards are better for some chordal things, but really it just comes down to musical styles and preferences.

3 - my favorite band "David Crowder*Band" uses Reason. they're a Christian band, and they were actually one of the first bands to ever bring in Electronic and Ambient backing loops into the Christian music scene. their first studio hit "Illuminate" offered a demo of Reason 2.5 and a couple of Reason files to their songs on the CD...everything pretty much branched off from there! Reason is a really cool program, and most of the up-and-coming Electronic artists are using it; you'd be hard-pressed to find any professionals using Acid or Fruity Loops.

just a little side note about "David Crowder*Band", their latest album "A Collision" hit #2 album on iTunes the first week of release...#2, out of all the albums being sold!

anyways, overall Reason is a really powerful program...a bit more complicated than your usual program, but really fun to learn. check out the Propellerhead site for more: http://www.propellerheads.se/

hope that helps everything! cheers.

Very Good

Very cool tetris remix.

DJ-Seri responds:

thx

Wow

You are a piano master!!!

Nice job, sounded excellent.

Nice choice in songs, I especially love Dire, Dire, Docks.

By the way, do you think you could make a piano version of the end credits in super Mario 64. That would be so awesome, seeing that no one on the portal has done it.

Well, fantastic job. Check out my stuff if you are interested.

Gwave responds:

Well just for you my "fan person" im gona make a good recording of Dire Dire Docks for my next batch!

Awesome

Wow, seems like you spent very long to make this. What do you use, Reason? Well, great job. I love the variaion.

Waterflame responds:

i used fruity loops 4 :) thanks!

Excellent job

Hi, this is a GREAT song. Excellent piano and bass especially. You said you used Reason for the first time. Im just curious about how u learned to use it, becasue i am trying to understand it, but it is so confusing. Plz respond.

XsToRmEr1 responds:

I've been using FL Studio back when it used to be called FruityLoops. I took my knowledge of sequencing from those few years of experience using FL and essentially transferred those skills to Reason. In addition, I was fortunate enough to stumble upon a video tutorial that elaborated on the devices and capabilities of the program. So I had a decent start for using Reason.

Even now, I still don't know a lot about Reason. There are just so many aspects of the program that can be taken advantage of to create awesome and professional-sounding music.

On a side note: Check out my latest song. Please rate/review, and spread the word if you can! Some idiots immediately bashed it, probably to take my name off the first page to avoid grabbing attention.

Funny

I thought it was funny, and had a good melody. Nice job.

By the way, check out my songs.

Murraymints responds:

Thanx, id love to see someone animate some one of these songs, but only if they were going to do a decent job! id do it myself but i really cant be bothered lol

Hi, check out my music in the audio portal. I now use Reason to make my songs.
